What Moves The Price
Three things that change the number.
Square footage
Bigger slab, more material and labor — but cost per square foot generally drops as size goes up.
Slab condition
Cracks, pitting, oil contamination, or a failed previous coating add prep time. Bad slabs can add $1–$3/sq ft.
Moisture & vapor barrier
High-moisture slabs need an engineered vapor barrier before coating — typically $1.50–$3.00/sq ft added.
